    “Once again Luis Rivera has exceeded my expectations. During my Air Conditioning service appointment he taught me how to check my condenser "receive" and "return" pipes so that I can ensure the system is functioning properly. And while Jacob, his partner on this trip, checked the attic for battery strength (all were strong) and potential vent leaks (there were none) and cleaned my drip pan of any potential rust to ensure no rusty air in the return air, Luis conditioned the outside fan/condenser unit so that it literally gleamed like brand new. Lou always takes the time to describe why things happen the way they do. Today when I had a question about noise on startup he described how the unit I have is very high efficiency and that their are circular plates in the motor housing that keep that gassy part of the refrigerant separated from the liquid refrigerant. He told me that on startup and shutoff these plates make a little extra noise so that the gas and liquid do not comingle. It is wonderful to have such a knowledgeable and caring service person. Lou treats me like a member of the family. I signed up for another year of service maintenance with Lou today so that I can continue getting the best Air Conditioning and Heating service Las Vegas has to offer. It gives me great comfort to be a part of Sierra Care.”

I'm trying to think of something that didn't go as promised but I can't. They responded to my emergency immediately, diagnosed the problem, explained what had to be done, then did it. Jeremy, who installed my new water heater, explained everything in terms I could understand, was thorough, courteous, laid plastic on the marble floors to make sure there weren't any scratches, and was an absolute gentleman. The price was fair and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire process. These people obviously have pride in what they do. I would recommend them without hesitation.”

    “Sierra Air and Jason Thack (30 years’ experience) are the BEST in Las Vegas area. First of all, my AC stopped working at about 4p on a Friday and to make matters worse, I live in a manufactured home and there are essentially, only 2 companies licensed to work on manufactured homes. I was very pleasantly surprised when the dispatcher, Michelle called and set up the service call last night and I asked about the service contract they offered on their website if I would be able to apply the reduced discounts and benefits to being a member for this repair job and the answer YES. I was told to expect a call from dispatcher about 30-45 min before they would arrive (between 8a-10a) and at 715a, they called to say he was on the way. He arrived at 8a and within 10 minutes, had diagnosed the broken fan motor....by 9a, had cool air blowing through the vents and he went ahead and did the 'spring' maintenance on the unit. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I was expecting a big $$ amt, being the weekend and July in Las Vegas and, all total work done including parts and warranties came to $1000....that included changing 3 capacitors to eliminate a near-future service call or two. I am grateful, cooled off in my house, and would highly recommend these folks (who discuss actual fees and costs PRIOR to any work being done).”

    “I am so glad I contacted Sierra. They save me $10K. I originally contact Elite Heating and Cooling and they wanted to replace my entire furnace, coils and condenser in my air conditioner. When all I need done was the motor replaced in my furnace (less than $300). The part was still under warranty so I only had to pay for the installation. I'm so grateful to Sierra (Matt) for being COMPLETELY honest and not trying to sale me something I don't need. Excellent customer service and professionalism. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”

    “Since we moved into our new house we have heard a noise . At really odd times, so bad my daughter would be kept awake. During the day I had thought the banging was the homes being built, I notified our builders supervisor to make an appointment for a warranty call. I think he thinks we were hearing things. Tony came out this morning and listened to us, then went above and beyond to find the problems. In this heat he went in the attic, and he found a long metal tube left over from construction which was part of the problem, then he tightened everything and insulated to make sure we have no more banging. We give him an A plus, plus. Also Yvonne in the call center was great communicating with us. I would highly recommend Sierra and their customer service. Especially Tony.”

    “Matt showed up today to help me with a balance air problem for our new inside and outside unit. He was told my problem and promptly went to work at correctly it. I ask him how he was familiar with air balancing? He told me his education back ground in the field and all the extra classes he has taken to get to where he is today. I knew I was in good hands. He also ended up doing my season checkup and with the weather we are having not to soon for me! He will have to order some parts but because the unit is so new it is a minor and no charge to us. He talked to his supervisor and said they would do it as soon as the parts get in! The bottom line is my happiness! I have so much trust and faith in Sierra that I know everything they do and tell me is what needs to be done. After years of doing business with them off and on I choose to stay with them as some others who just take advantage of folks. This company is honest.”

I appreciate the care they take in your home--wearing shoe covers and placing a drop cloth on the flooring before setting their ladder down. (And they bring their own ladder! I've actually had an HVAC technician ask to borrow one :) Tim D was extremely polite and professional. He was patient in taking the time to discover the problem I had called about. 'Cause wouldn't you know, the sounds I had been hearing weren't happening when he got there. He really took the time to figure out what might be causing the concern I had. I'm glad he didn't give up because he finally got to hear what I had been talking about. He had assured me that the problem we were having would be resolved that day. He also addressed another smaller concern. And he gave me tips on setting my thermostats and the types of filters I should use. Give Tim a bonus! :)”
